Class of RLWC2021 Competition

I hope by now that most people know that the Rugby League World Cup is returning to England later this year.

There is a schools competition to promote and celebrate the Rugby League World Cup coming to England. All you have to do is produce a short video (maximum of 2 minutes long) promoting and highlighting the top things to do within the Warrington area. This could be as simple as visiting Walton Hall Gardens for an idyllic walk, taking a cultural visit to the Warrington Museum and Art Gallery or watching Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. I am sure local children and staff will have many ideas about the best places to visit in the Warrington area.

The best videos from each area will be selected as part of the official RLWC2021 promotional video for the Warrington area. The favourite video will win a prize of a trophy visit with one of the official RLWC ambassadors and some World Cup goodies. The competition closes on Friday 28 May 2021, so do not delay get your entries in as soon as possible.

Finally if you have not yet signed up to the RLWWC2021 Education Hub, then why not do so before you enter the competition? The hub provides not only resources to support delivery of rugby league across our primary and secondary schools, but also provides a vast array of cross-curricular lesson plans to educate our primary age children using the excitement surrounding a world class sporting event happening In England.
