Cheshire & Warrington Winter School Games County Finals

Well done to all the schools that participated in the winter School Games programme this year.

In total we had two special schools, nine primary schools and eight secondary schools qualified for the county finals this year. These schools are:

Warrington's achievements  at these games are as follows:

Year 5 & 6 Girls Only Basketball

  • 3rd Place - High Legh Primary School
  • Spirit of the Games Winners - Oughtrington Primary School

Under 14's Basketball

  • Spirit of the Games Winners - Cardinal Newman Catholic High School

Year 5 & 6 Quicksticks Hockey

  •  2nd Place - Thelwall Junior School
  • Spirit of the Games Winners - Thelwall Junior School

Year 5 & 6 High 5 Stingers Netball

  • 3rd Place - Grappenhall St Wilfrid's CE Primary School

Under 12's Girls Football

  • 1st Place - Lymm High School

Under 14's Girls Football

  • 2nd Place - Bridgewater High School
Unfortunately we are still awaiting the final confirmation of results from the primary and secondary Sportshall Athletics and Year 3 & 4 Bee Netball festival.

We hope that everyone concerned had a positive experience of all the events.
