The first round of the knock out stage proved to be very difficult for every team with the games being the tightest we have seen, Thelwall Juniors took St Wilfrids 2 to extra time before a narrow 1-0 win, and a late equaliser for Oakwood primary took their clash to extra time before losing 2-1. Oughtrington were the stand out team of the round though as they comfortable beat Ravenbank 5-1 to book their place in the semi- final.
The semi- final stage gave us a school derby match as St Wilfrids 2 went head to head with St Wilfrids 3, with St Wilfrids 3 edging into the final with a 2-1 win, why Broomfields who impressed throughout got knocked out by Oughtrington in a penalty shootout.
The third and fourth place playoff game finished all square, with both teams agreeing to share third place and in the final St Wilfrids 3 met Oughtrington. Oughtrington came out 3-1 winners sending them to finch farm.
