The Warrington Wolves are pleased to announce that this year’s home fixture against the newly promoted London Broncos at the iconic Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday 5th April 2019 will be a schools themed game where all children will be able to attend for just £1 with adult tickets available for only £5.
The ‘Schools Day’ initiative and Kids for a Quid offer has been sponsored by OSI who provide schools, community groups and businesses with high quality furniture across the UK. The initiative has been devised in conjunction with the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation to encourage all children in Warrington to come along and experience the thrill of professional Rugby League in their home town.
The official launch of the scheme with the official team mascot, Wolfie was held at St Peter’s Catholic Primary School last week to promote the scheme to children and parents of the local area. The Warrington Wolves will also be sending hard copies of flyers and leaflets to school Office Managers to distribute and display on notice boards, websites etc. As a reward for schools support and proactive involvement, OSI will also provide a generous discount voucher should schools wish to purchase any furniture in the coming months although there is no obligation to do so.
The Warrington Wolves Foundation deliver a comprehensive programme of sport, health and education programmes in all schools including the free Sky Try initiative for children is Years 3 & 4 and have kindly offered the services of the Club’s marquee player, Wolfie to the first 10 schools who book him to promote Warrington Wolves Schools Day and the ‘Kids for a Quid’ in assemblies. Should you wish to take advantage of this fantastic offer please contact James Howes (Sport & Lifestyles Manager) via firstname.lastname@example.org at your earliest convenience.
Should schools wish to sell the tickets from the school office, a block of 50 tickets can be provided to schools (Children - £1; Adults £5) or alternatively orders can be taken via the order form (sent to schools) and the Warrington Wolves will drop off the exact amount of tickets required to distribute to the children and parents in advance of the game on the 5th April. Please contact Claire Gamble (email@example.com) for further details and to request your tickets.
Please note tickets are in the West Stand which is an unreserved standing area.
Unfortunately, at this point in time the offer is not available online via the Wolves website but moving forward, this is something that is being explored but will undoubtedly be a question parents will ask.
Thanks for your support.
