Due to the coronavirus situation across the country, the Cheshire and Warrington School Games County Finals have been cancelled for this academic year. In its place the Cheshire and Warrington School Sport Alliance and Active Cheshire will be running a virtual School Games event/challenge each week for everyone to take part in.

|29 April 2020||Tri-Golf Challenge||3 June 2020||Gymnastics Challenge|
|6 May 2020||Basketball Challenge||10 June 2020||Orienteering Challenge|
|13 May 2020||Volleyball Challenge||17 June 2020||Athletics Challenge|
|20 May 2020||Handball Challenge||24 June 2020||Tennis Challenge|
Each event will be published every Wednesday at 10am on the dates specified.
The challenges are for both primary and secondary aged children and young people, however the more people we get participating the better, so please pass on to parents, guardians and grandparents. Teachers, support staff etc can also take part and all we ask is that people submit a video via social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or email them to your School Games Lead) by Wednesday 1st July 2020.
If you are going to submit on social media, please remember to tag the following twitter accounts into your posts and use the hashtag #CheshireVirtualGames@SGWarrington
If personal social media accounts are being used, please ensure you also include the school you are representing!
The events/challenges shouldn't need too much space and need minimal sports equipment that can be replaced with house hold items. All the events are perfect for individuals at home but also great to run in school for the those children still in attendance.
