The Warrington Virtual School Games programme has been set up for schools to still engage in the national School Games Programme albeit in a virtual environment and not a physical environment due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Each event has a start and a finish date and schools that want to compete in a virtual environment must submit their Virtual School Games Entry Form before the end of day on the finish date.
Each event is made up of 5 activities or personal challenges that pupils should be able to complete in extra-curricular activity clubs and or PE lessons. These activities can be done over a period of time or in one lesson/club session, it is completely down to the individual school on how they want to complete the challenges.
Year 3 & 4 Mixed Rounders Competition run by the Warrington School Games Programme
5 boys and 5 girls in a team to compete in rounders based skills.
The deadline to submit your results for this event will be Friday 2nd July 2021.
We hope that this format will increase the number of pupils participating in School Games activities as a result of not having to come out of school. To ensure you know what you need to do, please read each resource thoroughly and remember to be guided by your school COVID-19 risk assessments when participating in these activities. Please ensure you read the confirmation email as this email includes the following information:
