Girls Into Rugby League Festival
The Year 5-6 Girls Into Rugby League (G.I.R.L) festival is part of a set of This Girl Can events run by the Warrington School Games Programme in partnership with a variety of stakeholders.
This event is run in partnership with the Warrington Wolves Foundation and is part of the Aspire Programme to engage new audiences, so we ask that girls who attend have not had the chance to represent school before in any sort of Rugby event.
A maximum of 10 Year 5-6 Girls in a squad with 5 playing at a time.
The format on the day will be dependent on the number of teams, however the intention is to split school teams into groups and play against each other within their respective groups.
Arrival Time : You need to arrive at LEAST 30 minutes before the start of any event for registration, briefing & warming up.
